Summary:
The remnants of a tropical disturbance traveled across Colorado yesterday, bringing abundant clouds and much needed rain to many parts of the state. While no flooding issues were reported, moderate-to-heavy rainfall accompanied the stronger showers and thunderstorms, especially for portions of the Southeast Plains and Raton Ridge. Colorado Springs picked up on their first rainfall in weeks during the evening and nighttime hours. All in all, it is hard to complain about beneficial rain that occurs without flooding. A few showers are still ongoing across various portions of the state this morning.
