Welcome back to the 2015 edition of the Colorado Flood Threat Bulletin. Mother Nature was kind enough to bring some rainfall to the state during the afternoon and nighttime hours last night, with a few showers continuing over the Southeastern Plains and Southeast Mountains this morning. Although most rainfall was generally light, a few thunderstorms managed to rumble across the Front Range, Urban Corridor, and Northeast Plains, producing rainfall in the 0.20-0.6 inch range.
Brief, small hail was reported around 1 am this morning by a Dewberry meteorologist in the Denver Metro area. Additionally, 1 inch hail was reported 3 miles E of Sterling in Logan County around 6:45 PM MDT.
No flash flooding occurred yesterday.
