As is often the case with the day after the storm, a downtick in rainfall activity is expected today. However, some active will still remain across parts of the state.
<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2501\" src=\"https:\/\/archive-coftb.dewberryanalytics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/wv_markup1.png\" alt=\"wv_markup\" width=\"569\" height=\"393\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n
Let’s discuss the details:
\n• the atmosphere’s dynamics are weakening with the departing and weakening low pressure; mid-level height rises of 30 – 60 meters are expected throughout the days favoring weak subsidence
\n• atmospheric instability will be limited for most of the state with less than 750 J\/kg of instability for most; the only exception is the far eastern part of the state where instabilities up to 1,500 J\/kg will be possible
\n• <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"<div class=glossaryItemTitle>precipitable water<\/div><div class=glossaryItemBody>The total atmospheric water vapor contained in a vertical column of the atmosphere.
