By afternoon, <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;scattered&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;25-40% areal coverage&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>scattered<\/span> thunderstorms began to fire up along the high elevations in Southern Colorado, thanks to additional moisture creeping up from the south. Cells were mostly confined to the Southwest Slope, San Juan Mountains, Southeast Mountains, and Raton Ridge. A small cell over Durango produced between 0.27-0.33 inches in just over a 3-hour period. <\/p>\n<p>In the evening, <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;isolated&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;less than 10% areal coverage&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>isolated<\/span> cells also formed along the Urban Corridor before moving eastward onto the Palmer Ridge and Northeast Plains. The map is updated daily during the operational season (May 1 &ndash; Sep 30) by 11AM.
