It also helped to clear out the air from some of the smoke and <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;haze&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;!-- wp:paragraph {&amp;quot;textColor&amp;quot;:&amp;quot;white&amp;quot;} --&amp;gt;\n&amp;lt;p class=&amp;quot;has-white-color has-text-color&amp;quot;&amp;gt;atmospheric phenomenon that occurs when fine particles suspended in the air greatly reduce visibility and air quality&amp;lt;\/p&amp;gt;\n&amp;lt;!-- \/wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>haze<\/span> from western fires and general summer ozone pollution. Temperatures felt more like fall, with highs in the 70s and 80s for most of the state &ndash; only the Southeast Plains and Raton Ridge, which didn&rsquo;t benefit from much rain over the last few days, remained in the 90s. The flood <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Warning&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;!-- wp:paragraph {&amp;quot;textColor&amp;quot;:&amp;quot;white&amp;quot;} --&amp;gt;\n&amp;lt;p class=&amp;quot;has-white-color has-text-color&amp;quot;&amp;gt;a weather warning is issued when a specific weather event is imminent or occurring&amp;lt;\/p&amp;gt;\n&amp;lt;!-- \/wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;&lt;\/div&gt;\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>warning<\/span> issued overnight for the area expired at noon. <\/p>\n<p>As mentioned in the FTB yesterday, there was the potential for an overnight disturbance along the Raton Ridge, Southeast Plains, and Palmer ridge last night. This materialized and allowed for a line of showers to develop, producing modest rainfall as showers moved north-northeast. A gauge in Colorado City reported 0.10 inches just after midnight, and 0.01-0.03 inches were reported along the I-70 corridor of the Palmer Ridge and Eastern Plains. <\/p>\n<p>For rainfall estimates in your area, especially over the last few days, check out the State Precipitation Map below! <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id6a1bf15a7efc5\" tabindex=\"0\" title=\"Click Here For Map Overview\">Click Here For Map Overview<\/h4><div id=\"target-id6a1bf15a7efc5\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">\n<p>The map below shows radar-estimated, rainfall gage-adjusted Quantitative Precipitation Estimates (<span class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;QPE&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Q&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt;uantitative &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;P&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt;recipitation &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;E&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt;stimate; an estimate of the amount of precipitation that has fallen at a particular location or across a region based on several different data sources, such as radar or satellite; QPE is often calculated using remotely-sensed data sources&lt;\/div&gt;\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]'>QPE<\/span>) across Colorado. The map is updated daily during the operational season (May 1 &ndash; Sep 30) by 11AM.
