Durango also received 0.20-0.60 inches of precipitation across the city and its surroundings. This region of the state has been in extreme to exceptional drought for a while, so rain and snow is welcome news. One cell west of Sterling produced up to 3.25 inch hail stones and a tornado even touched down briefly in an open field according to trained spotters.<\/p>\n<p>Flooding was not reported on Thursday. The map is updated daily during the operational season (May 1 &ndash; Sep 30) by 11AM.
